DJM 3" Lower Control Arms
Soon I will be lowering my truck more then it currently is. I purchased a set of DJM lower control arms and I am thinking they may sit very close to the ground. I currently have 2" lowering spindles and I cut my springs about an inch. Any one have them installed? Any issues with ground clearance? Any pictures? Thanks

Are you going to be using the spindles AND the LCA's together? I woudn't recommend that.

I was planning on it. What problems would I run into? I am looking for about a 5 inch drop in the front. What would be the best combo for that?

I did the same thing and the A arms drag the ground. You would have to run 20's on the front to keep it from dragging.

So dwcsr, you have lowering lower control arms and drop spindles and that resulted in ground clearance issues? I am running 17s and I don't really want to go any bigger than that.

Well I did some more research and it appears that if I want to lower my truck 5 " in the front and use the 3" lower control arms I should use the stock spindles with some lowering springs. That is what DJM has as one of there kits. Thanks for the heads up.

Using those components together violates Scrub. Another words, you get a flat and you loose control since the control arms hang below the rim.
Spindles and LCA's are not designed to be used together. You need a 3" drop spring, or 3" spindles and 2" springs.
