TPI Question (Size of Runners On Heads)?
Is there a certain size runner you need on your heads when you are running TPI?
Thanks, JRB |

Re: TPI Question (Size of Runners On Heads)?
I wouldn't think so, I have seen a TPI on all different Chevy engines. I would think that the runner length on the head would just shift the torgue & horsepower peaks in the curve. More low end, less top end with long runners & vice versa with short runners.
If I remeber correctly.

Re: TPI Question (Size of Runners On Heads)?
Street an Performance makes a large runner setup for the TPI. They also have a manifold that will fit the TPI to the Fast Burn style heads. From what I have read it seems to be understood the Chevy TPI poops out at under 400hp. I am going to have the large runner setup and extrude hone the entire intake assembly for the 420hp 383 crate motor.
