94 4.3 Vortec W hard starting after sitting - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The vehicle: 94 GMC Jimmy, 4.3 W vortec, auto trans.

The problem: After sitting over night or a few hours, it’s hard to start.
I have to open the throttle in varying amounts for it to start. After that it will start fine (without sitting etc). Also it idles a bit rough now…And it’s always smelled like rotten eggs but now after the rough start it smells real bad.

Things that have been done before this recent problem: Replaced fuel pump, sending unit, fuel tank and filter. Complete tune up. New distributor module.

Hummmm Any help is greatly appreciated.
