'64 frame swap
could an '86 camaro frame fit under a '64 s/w truck? i've come across the car for free, and would like to know if its worth using or not...any help would be great before i take it to the scrap yard

Camaros are unibody. No frame, just suspension hung from points on the unibody structure. You could use parts from it though.

Scrap it. There's probably not much on it that's worth the effort of removing. Front suspension is struts, and like Frizzle Fry said, bolt into a uni-body chassis... no frame, the body itself is the structure. The rear diff might be worth keeping?????

if the car is a six cylinder,the rear may be a 3.42.good for swapping into v8 camaros.

thanks for the help. maybe i can get a camaro junky to buy it for 2 or 3 hundred bucks on the way to scrapping. i might look into using the front suspension and rear end
