Thanks for all the input!

He actually had a 4bbl intake and gave it to another friend awhile back. The guy tried it but must have had a big carb because he removed it after flooding problems.

I'm just trying to help him get back on the road. I think I found a kit for the Holley on ebay but who knows how long it will take to get here. We're gonna try the Rochester M and if that doesn't work I told him he could drive my Nova (1970 4dr 250 Powerglide with a crunched front end and bullet hole in the trunk
