Dragging for all the wrong reasons

Note to self: Install compressors this weekend!

I've been driving the Wallet Eater the last few days, and today was no exception. After work, I rambled out to the parking lot, popped the door (loaded my daughter in... she came to work with me today), and hit the switches. Click, click. Uh oh. I verified the switches were indeed popping open the valves. Oh no. No air in the tanks. And I haven't installed the compressors yet (I've been "topping off" the tanks in the morning before I leave the house... and I had this morning as well. Not sure what the problem was this time). But I'm in luck as there's a tire store across the street from work. I'll borrow a handheld tank from them.

After risking life and limb getting across the street, I found that they don't have a portable tank. A tire store without a portable tank? Huh? So, I decided the only way to get home would be to DRIVE it to the tire store. I managed a very smooth 178 point turn to get pointed the right way and out of our parking lot. And then it was a pretty straight shot to the tire store. Once there, I filled the tanks with their compressor and it was smooth sailing the rest of the way home.
