Re: Wire Looms
I got mine from GMC Paul. Don't have any pics, but with them on the engine, it looks kinda like this.

Re: Wire Looms
I am using the Billet Specialties Smooth style looms.
I like them - they do a nice job of keeping your wires out of the way... Don't have any "purpose" taken pictures of them, but you can see them in both of these... http://www.slickorange.com/Album/ima...gmc_image1.jpg http://www.slickorange.com/Album/ima...gmc_image2.jpg They are a little flashy, but easy to keep clean with the Mothers Billet Polish. I am working on getting less flash under the hood actually...too much chrome, it was a phase I went through I guess. |

Re: Wire Looms
I went the GM original route, like in the pic from OhioDan but went HEI. It's a nice set up for original look. PITA to run the plug wires, the trip from plug 1 & 3 to the distributor is a long one. Only wires that fit are made for a mid 70's vette with HEI.

Re: Wire Looms
When I bought it, it had later year manifolds on it with smog holes. I got the right center dump Rams Horns with correct cast number (because I'm a freak about keeping it factory). You should be able to run the wires stock with header also.

Re: Wire Looms
I changed mine to HEI also. Got pre-cut wires from NAPA for a 75 Vette. Lost the part #. Sorry. Hope this helps?

Re: Wire Looms
I think the length is the same or at least close, but headers need a 90 degree boot & rams horns can use either straight or angled boot.

Re: Wire Looms
I'm in need of wires for my HEI setup on my 72 K20 as well. I did a search on summit for 75 corvette, and there are 63 options, but all of them ar 90 degree. Where can I find the straight ones? I have ramhorns now. Maybe I should just use it as an excuse to get headers?
