Gas tank switchability?
Any of ya'll know if a pass side gas tank is the same as a driver side tank?
They look the same size wise to me but I don't know if there might be a difference in the way the sending unit and all mounts into the tank. I found a pass tank from a swb truck and need to use it in my 85 that only has one tank.

Re: Gas tank switchability?
The sending units are different and you will have to remove the tank straps and move the brackets to the other side. Sometimes the fuel tank strap will break before it will unbolt even if you are careful to hold it and use pentrating oil. The tanks themselves are the same.
