Brake Line Junction, 1969 K5

I recently added longer brake lines in the front from frame rails to wheels due to new lift. Have a leak at the junction block on inside of frame rail, drivers side. It's hard to see with motor and all in the way. I'm thinking I either installed or did not install one of those copper washers in the correct place. Any one have an exploded view of this? Service manual does not show it. Does it go: bolt, copper washer, junction block, etc? Or: bolt, junction block, copper washer?

Re: Brake Line Junction, 1969 K5

i just pulled mine apart for a leaking line and it goes bolt, washer, junction block, and then washer. There should be two washers total, one on each side of the junction block.

Unhappy Re: Brake Line Junction, 1969 K5

I guess it comes apart tomorrow to see if I did it right. It's only 107 in the garage. Does NAPA carry those washers? Thanks a lot for the info.

Yes NAPA should have them. They come on that help rack in a little box.

I just bought a kit with braided lines. I'll open it up and scan the directions if there's is a diagram.
