why do they show up when i post the message but disappear later?

I did not have very good luck posting pictures through webshots.
Try this site:

Cartogra

It should work the same, once you have an account:
Open picture
Right click on picture
Highlight and Copy properties link within the picture
Then paste into img link.

It has always worked for me:

thanks cyco. it has been a start and stop project for a many years. i would like to do it again with some of the knowledge i have picked up from this board.
