LMC parts for trailing arms/springs...

I'm wondering if the time spent scrounging up new parts and hardware for the rear trailing arms is really worth the time, effort and money. Normally I'd go to a local bolt store for hardware, and pay for grade 8 stuff. Last night I checked out the LMC catalog, and I wrote up an order for EVERYTHING I'd need. Looks like everything's covered, and I won't have to go driving around.

I think I'm going to go ahead and purchase the stuff unless anyone thinks I can do better. What do you guys think?

Personally, LMC would be the last place I would ever buy from. Honestly I haven't looked at their catalog for several years, but when I did it was very over priced and service was less than stellar. That was back when I only knew of LMC and Chevy Duty. There are plenty of other vendors available for 1 stop shopping today and you see them on these boards every day.

I know there is, and I haven't ordered from LMC for a long time, but I'm not getting responses from people I've PM'd, and I'm not going to waste time to save a few dollars. Gotta get this stuff ordered.

I've found that no one vendor has the best price on everything but I shop at Chevy Duty the most. They have an on line store so you can shop anytime. LMC doesn't but I think they have a toll free number that is manned (?) 24 hrs. Let us know which everway you go.
I needed a hose for my A/C and found that LMC was the cheapest so they got my business on that one.

I have debated the same purchase. A while back I talked with a board vendor about if he stocked these parts. At the time, he did not (He could get them) and actually recommended using Chevy Duty or another large vendor (his price would be about the same). The smaller guys would be hard pressed to stock these smaller items. I have purchased a few small items from LMC and Brothers and have not had any problems.

I've had no problems with LMC, they have stuff other doen't seem to have and there prices are pretty good. The prices on the hardware is about right and it's the correct piece. I have Classic Ind just 15 min away from me and I still buy at LMC.

Yeah, the thing is with the front-end I spent sooo much time running around between Lowes and the local hardware store buying grade 8 and staneless bolts. I end up spending more time and money that way. It would be nice for once for everything to show up in a box that I can use to just bolt everything together, and then just have to go get what I need in small amounts. A bolt here, a nut here...a lot easier.

I'm going to order the stuff. I'll let you know if it was pleasant or not.
