cluster lense cleaning
i thought i seen a post on cleaning the cluster lenses but did a search and came up empty what is the best way to clean a cluster lense and not remove the lettering, i'm trying to refurbish my tach dash without waighting for new parts and mabe save a few bucks. what do you guys use for paint on your bezels? any spray bomb or plastic paint? i have some catipilar aluminum paint that is closer to chrome than any i have ever seen

The bezal is so cheap, it's a waste of time to try and paint it IMO (unless you are on VERY strict budget). Last time i checked, Rick's had them for like 25 bucks, and they fit just shy of perfect.
For the lens, all the scratching is on the out side, and all the lettering ids on the inside. I use a buffer pad on a cordless drill and buff the lens with mothers mag polish. Works great. |

brasso works fantastic ! i use throw away rags "box o rags" and hand buff. if you don't use gorrilla force the lettering will stay putt.
