New Paint (Again)

Well, I am going to pick up my truck this evening. Had it repainted again. It's a '73 Stepside. Wasn't happy with it the first time even though the painters had it 2 months. I had it repainted back in February of last year. Never was happy with it. I had it painted white with white pearl in the clear. This time I decided to go with same color as The white Escalades. It is called "White Diamond". I sure hopes it looks good. I guess I will see this evening. I will post some pictures when I get back Tuesday.

Re: New Paint (Again)

Nope,
He has told me ever since he painted it that in the next weekend or two he would redo it for me and he has been saying that since a couple of months after he painted it. I have let another painter do it that lives in my old home town of Merkel. I have pretty much known him since I was a kid, so I trust him. I guess I will see how good he is this evenming.

Re: New Paint (Again)

Here it is.....
Don't knock the headache rack. My dad bought it off of an old welder about 30 years ago. It originaly had a couple of spare tire mounts where those clover shaped cutouts are. He want the mounts cut out and the welder came up with that design. I didn't buy enough pearl to paint it so it doesn't match. I am still debating on keeping it on there. I was driving this pickup when I was dating my wife of 28 years.
