Progress Pics of my project....
Here are some progress pics of my 74. Just mounted the fuel cell, and now building a new drive line crossmember. The last pic I stuck a 1" block under the front tire and it still laid body! That means I can shave the pinch weld.....

Re: Progress Pics of my project....
Thanks I appreaciate that. What have I done, lets see the list goes on.... Welded 2x4 box into the frame under the cab and trimed the rest off, put in the custom notches, KP six link, front was Z'ed 2.5", front crossmember was sectioned 1.5", Air Ride Strong Arms, ZZ3 crate motor,
700R4 going in, the list goes on. I still have ton's to do trying to get all the frame fab done so I can send it to powder coat. If I started to tell you what's left I might be typing for a few hours! |

Re: Progress Pics of my project....
I've said it a thousand times... "I wish I could strip my truck to the frame for powder". I do all my own little stuff, but I have a connection at Continental Coatings (who I get my powder from too) that would do my frame for $200, maybe less since they sort of owe me for years of faithful service.
I guess when I have everything else done, I might just do it for the hell of it. |

Re: Progress Pics of my project....
Rears are 275-60-15's and front's are 255-70-15's. These are the temps till I get 20's, I'd like to have some sidewall so I'm actually going to run a 295-40-20 in the rear!
