Which top do you prefer?
I am gonna have to find one, so I was thinking about which I would rather have in a perfect world. Here's my question, if it was possible to buy a brand new top, straight from the factory, would you buy a single or double wall and why?

Re: Which top do you prefer?
Single. Lighter and better built, easier to remove if you have the quarter interior trim covers. Dome lamps on the inside.

Re: Which top do you prefer?
if i where buying it for a show vehicle i would buy a double as they look much nicer on the inside. but for everyday use i would buy a single for the reasons above

Re: Which top do you prefer?
I guess I am alone here in saying I prefer the double wall top. Better insulated= less road noise. The only thing I like about the single wall top is the window weatherstripping..

Re: Which top do you prefer?
Keith has a point there, the inside of a double has much cleaner lines

Who needs a top? My double wall top is hanging from my ceiling for the past 10 years.

Re: Which top do you prefer?
I vote for the double wall tops, because that's what my Blazer came with originally. I agree with Kyle4381 in the sense that they are better insulated and they keep more outside noise away from the interior of the vehicle.
The double wall top that I have is going to go back on my blazer soon, but I still have to find a new rear hatch panel because my original one has a big chunk of fiberglass chipped off of one corner . Other than that it'll just need a coat of black paint, and removal of the old purple window tinting on the windows and it'll be good as new. -- Kevin
