Re: new here with a new truck

well i think i figured out how i want to do this crewcab conversion. im going to take out a total of 41 inches from the long bed. 30" from the front of the bed, and 11" from the rear. and that gives me enough room for the door and about a 1 1/2" inbetween the two doors. and then i will use another cab behind the factory cab and all truck doors. but alot of fab to sqaure up the posts where the two doors meet. so front doors will be same legnth as the rear doors like a megacab dodge. so i will need to round up a bit of suburban door pillars and roof area. i think it will be a fun project, and i will post pics as i go. bed will be about 5ft 1in.
