Bucket seat frames

I have a 1970 K-5 blazer in the sixth year of the ground up almost done. Next snag is I have a set of buckets that came with blazer when I bought it. After looking for new foams to put on them they look more like 67-68 seats. I guess the real question is does anybody know if all the frames are the same from 67-72 I want to put the 72 cushions on for the houndstooth covers

Re: Bucket seat frames

The 67-68 buddy bucket 3-piece seat did not come in blazers, but what you seek it can be done, see this thread here courtesy of boardmember farside847, but I think he used his in a truck

Re: Bucket seat frames

Thanks
Paul that post was very informative and the seats look awesome I hope mine turn out half that good. Mine are seperate seats with the correct brackets for the blazers. Like you said nobody has info on the measurements or if all the frames are the same. I appreciate the reply. Very helpful when I get mine done I'll post them. thanks Michael

Re: Bucket seat frames

Hey everyone! I haven't posted at all, not much to say lately about my new truck 71 swb been kinda pissed about the whole thing, dont want to start ranting about it. but what I do have is a buddy bucket setup to install in it that has been totally reupholstered and there isn't any bracketry to attach the seats to the frame and I cant find any pics that show what kind is needed.. will the brackets from a full bench work, is there a place that I can purchase this stuff new? Thanks for any bones you guys can throw my way!
or if someone has something like that for sale used I'd be interested!
