Lower Radiator Hose Help
I am having one heck of a time coming up with a lower radiator hose that fits my truck. I have one of those universal cheapos (with a spring) in there now but I want to get a formed one that will fit.
It is for a 1967 with the original 6cyl radiator where the lower connection curves up, with a 1975 350 with long water pump in the 6cyl. position. A part number would be great! Thanks

I had the same problem. Couldn't find the correct hoze, just the universal one. I even took a original gm hoze to the dealer and had them look up the number on the hoze. Discontinued.. And no old stock. So the problem with the universal hoze was its to long and it rubbed the frame. So i cut it down and wire tied a piece of rubber between the hoze and the frame. I'll check it once a year to see if it rubbed through yet.

I also have a 73 up long pump on the longhorn, & used the 73 up lower hose. also the lower neck was changed on the radiator. the later rad has a smaller straight neck,so I had the tank end of the neck expanded (at an ex shop), then soldered the neck in. If your rad is in good shape, a rad shop should be able to change the neck for a minimul charge. Good luck......crazy AL

I had the same problem when installed a 79 305 on the I6 with a long pump. Took me a couple of weeks of searching to find the right lower hose. The par number of the one I installed is Goodyear 60751. It fits perfectly.
