'74 454 truck stripping down
prices off tp of my head, open to any possible trades, you never know, just try me! theres a little of everything im looking for,
-stock 1974 truck 454 engine, low miles rebuilt with receipts, maybe sell, maybe not, maybe if you have really awesome trading material- maybe something like a decently clean GM truck or 70's nova or camaro rolling body with potential ? or something else ? 1974 BBC truck th400 short tail tranny with bolted output yoke, needs forward range clutch pack discs replaced, reverse not worn out yet, otherwise is fine, $50 complete big 14 bolt FF 10.5" 3.73 rear axle, not posi, in nice shape, still under truck, $225 wheels nice newer deep tread heavy load highway radial tires 265/85/16" would be awesome tandem axle car trailer tires, $40all and $125all respectively nice tilting column, no cruise$45, wont be disapointed nice clean steer wheel$30, wont be disapointed entire cab wiring harness for th400 and a/c$35 most a/c stuff sold cept for 454 brackets and compressor and HD evaporator core good hood hinges$20 and goor glasses free and regulators$20 and entire nice shapefront BB 2wd disc suspension$45 and frame$60 and 7+1 56" rear leaf packs$25 and hangers$20 and shackles$20 and 3/4 ton U bolts and plates$20 or package deal, nice p/s steering gearbox$35, fits 1/2 3/4 1 ton trucks cept for vans, 4 core newer very clean radiator and shroud and top retainer panel and etc related parts needed for this $175 all more stuff than this on truck, may sell the camper off this truck, its huge, comes all way up to over the windshield and is about 9 foot tall roughly, $75 for that ? has aluminum panel exterior and windows in good shape, no leaks and has lights inside and inside been replaced with new plywood panels and shelving and stuff, doors been replaced with solid plywood doors and sets of heavy slider latches thanks. Randy, how much for the tach dash? do all of the instuments work? is it the same that would have been in a 79 suburban? thanks.

harry, no 74 is oldie style setupo, by 79 they had changed faces of guages and also changed oil to electrical input and other changes. i think the oil changed in 77 and faces in 79
and also filler panel piece at bottom of the bezel at the column changed width too, alot of things changed 73-80 about every year was something changed somewhere somehow including doors change in 77 and grilles every two years, etc. sorry. Last edited by Fast68Chevy; 10-15-2002 at 11:37 PM. |

what shape is the motor in, and how much for it. i also have that complete p/s setup your looking for. thanks

could hear it run again if had exhaust manifold for it, have good semi synthethic oil in it

all door panels equipment and all headliner equipment and p/b booster and m/cylinder sold

do you have the manifold? i think i can come up with some oil. if i come to look at it i want to here it run. i don't want to try to ship something like this. its a long trip from nashville.

manifold i can get,
i meant that i have oil, semi syn oil., theres no way in !#@^%$! it can be shipped, no way at all. not from around here unlkess you have an extra few hundred bucks to blast on mail cost Keith(meathead85) knows what trip is like from Nash to here, he is from here. hehe. Not as far as you may think. Doesnt matter if i sell engine or not, i actually like this engine alot had to go through alot of ^%#! to get my hands on it, I really hope to find a full framed small body car for it that can take the torque without becoming a pretzel, hehe thanks Randy |
