Re: Chassis Help

Gentleman,

I picked up a 700R4 Tranny that I plan on swapping with the 350T currently in my 68 Chevy PU. I understand that they have some wiring harness's for sale that come prewired. (Bowtie Overdrive, Painless). I spoke with a gentleman from Hugh's Transmissions in Phoenix AZ over the phone and he said I could just run a single power wire with toggle switch to pin top-driver side (of the four pins) and this would work fine. To be honest I'm not real familiar with the wiring for this transmission since I do not have a computer for my truck. This PU has a new motor/tranny (350/350T) which runs great but I really want that Overdrive. My plans from there are to swap the 3 speed for the 350T in my 57 fleetside for the time being. Thxs very much.
