Thanks to all forum members!
Just posting to say thanks to all the forum members for all the great info I have learned off this forum
![]() Sunday I was able to put my finished cab back on the frame single-handedly, bringing me a little closer to having a complete truck again some day. Bob p.s. I know....this thread is useless without pics ![]()

Re: Thanks to all forum members!
Congrats, you're really cruisin'. Didn't you end up with quite a bit of rust repair to do in the cab or am I thinking of someone else?

Re: Thanks to all forum members!
Looks very nice and done right. Tell us what type of floor paint/treatment you did. I have seen plenty of shiney paint ones but no-one ever sees them and this is moisture prone area.

His floor looks like he used spray on bed liner, the stuff in the spray bomb. That is what I used in my orange and white. Correct me if I am wrong.
Oh, and by the way, Lookin sharp. Great job! Aaron |

Re: Thanks to all forum members!
Great way to do the cab. I do most of my work alone so always good to see the different creative way to do those jobs that normally require a helper.

Re: Thanks to all forum members!
i had rented one over here in the netherlands , it was a foldable 2 metric ton and i think it was half the size and didnt had the pull out legs .
i had to load it in at the rental fold it out to take the engine out of a donor car and into a trailer then fold the lift and put it in the trailer again then drive to the storage space i rented take the lift out again to move the engine .......etc . i assembled disasembled and loaded the dahm thing bout 5 times including the pickup and delivery back at the place i had rented it , and i had to do it again when it was time to mount the engine in the new car if it was the size youres is i probably couldnt walk straight anymore for a week . i now have a garage of my own to work in and i do consider to build the type you have with the longer stretch to work on the cab and engine . if i have to wresle with the cab on my not so smooth floor i need to be sure the crane with cab will not tip over

Re: Thanks to all forum members!
I have been away from the site but I have seen nothing has changed. Still the same great advise and good pictures. I wish I had a place to work on my trucks. Hopefully when this tour is over I will be some place that I can work on my own stuff again. Good work and keep posting pics so folks like me can live thru folks like you....
