parts interchangeabilitly question

i found a 54 GMC parts truck, will all the parts swap to my 52 GMC?, ive noticed alot of catalouges were some parts are 49-53 and then a different number for 54's

1953 chevy 1/2 ton 5 window, chevy 350 330 horse 700r tranz, lowering spindels mustang 2 frount. ford 9", airbags on 4 corners . purchased in 1983 for $325 while in high school

most of the internal parts will i would check however engine and trans match the frount fender probably wont since the grill is diffrent the rear fenders should be the same. i know the chevy more than the gmc but i would suppose the doors to be diffrent window vents and all.. you would probably have some matches but i wouldn't concider them twins

i dunno for sure, but im guessing everything from the cab back would be the same.. except maybe for windows... just my .02

Click this link and ask away, the guys on the oldgmctruck board are well educated on these trucks. There is also a resource right on the message board devoted to this subject. More of the crowd here is into customs, over there is mostly the stocker and preservation guys but both sites have some of either group. See ya over there!
