Just another GMC

I have been reading for awhile now and I think I know which direction I am going to go in.I would like to update the frame and put air susp. "still not sure which setup"and a 350.Most details will be figured out while I finish my other project car it's a sweet 73 Opel GT.That will be done in mid Dec.I picked a 47-53 GMC 5 window up a few weeks ago.It came with an extra set of doors, engine, trans, dash, and glass.Still don't know the year the vin on the door reads FC15214817.The decoder I tried says 1977.Wondering if it is supposed to say 1947.We will see where this project goes.I am getting excited to start after reading and looking at others posts. Thanks Tim
