Ok guys I am building a 69 C-10. In just a few months you will be able to go to Gaugemagazine.com and check out the progress in Tech articles.

I will be running a PorterBuilt dropmember and all Unisteer.com steering components.

My question is! Who offers an underdash mastercyliner setup. I want to totally smooth my firewall.

Kugel Komponents sells a pricey, but sweet 90 degree brake setup. I am sort of in the process of putting that in right now, but it will probably be a while before I get it in. Search on google for them and they should have some info on that set up. Good luck!

I don't know the model number, but I have the ninety degree mount with the clutch and brake pedals. I have the 16" pedals. It has been a while since I got it, so I am not sure what other options there were. It seems like it is a really well made device. Mine has zero slop in the pedal movement and the heim joints for the pivots are a nice touch. I don't remember if they show a picture on their site, so if you want a picture of the one I have, just ask.

Well all will need is the brake assembly. I was just wondering which one would be best. I have disc up front, and I am not sure what I need.

If you already have a master cylinder and booster, you can just use those and buy the bare bracket assembly: "254S Brake Bare - 17-1/2" Pedal $225.00". You would just bolt that on the bracket under the dash. Just make sure that you measure and make sure that your booster will fit under the dash. If it is too big, you could possibly go with a smaller diameter dual diaphram booster.

Also, you might have to redrill some of the holes on the brake bracket. Mine does not line up exactly with the factory booster.

Hopefully that didn't confuse you more. Let me know if something I said wasn't clear.

well i dont have the booster. who ever put the disc on the front didnt do the rest. So I will probably get the whole thing. What size will fit under the dash?

Sorry I can't help you with the correct size. I cut out the underside of the cowl vent to give me more room under the dash. So it won't be the same for me as it is for you. You might send a pm to XXL cause it looks like he has a similar setup going on. Sorry I can't be more help.

Also if you do a traditional bodydrop to the door like I did the master cylinder cant go in without the removal/relocation of the wiper motor...

With that mounted underneath the dash does it interfear with the all the gauges on the dash? How would you check your brake fluid? I think it is a sweet idea but just curious how practical it is. Does anyone have this done? I would love to see some pics actually installed!

Kugel makes some nice stuff... if you call down there ask for Jeff..... One thing I am curious about and I need to ask jeff is if it will work with a Hydrabrake.... I couldnt see why it wouldnt.....?

No experience with a hydroboost, but from what I have heard, it bolts onto the stock linkages, which means that it should bolt onto the kugel linkages. You may have to redrill holes or something minor like that. The only issue might be space and running the lines into the cab (also minor issues).
