I WAS THERE!!! it was pretty sweet. there was a pretty wicked yellow 67 didn't make the top 16 but it was quick.

Yep, I always have fun when they run in AZ at speedworld, I managed to get in a couple of the huddles for some tv time. I've only seen the lose your ride episodes in person, which take a quite a bit of time to film. I'll bet it was alot of fun seeing 300+ cars shooting it out.

there is a guy thats from my town that won on pinks, his name is van burgess drove a 86 monte carlo raced and won a orange 80 malibu wagon and to my surprise he really took the car because it was on display at the local tireshop they raced at gateway in st louis mo

it was pretty intense, i heard they ran over 400 races that day. they started about 8 am and ran race after race after race till about 4 and then took a break to figure out the top 20 ... which the last 8 raced for the final 4 positions for the sweet 16 which raced for 8 and 4 and 2 and so forth... pretty intense. the only thing that could have made it better was during the 4 hr break to figure it out they could have let the cars race that weren't in the standing, just for fun and grudge matches. we didn't leave till about midnight, it was nice becuase we were in the orielly's suite. which is the one directly above the track right behind on the second story of suites, while your watching the show it's directly to the left of where all their audio video was set up, you can see then talkin and stuff... pretty neat
