ok,pardon my ignorance, but i need your help on this one.......
the "bracket" that is between your upper A arm and frame(upper a arm bracket???)what exactly does this do.mine is rotted out pretty bad on both sides and need to know how to go about getting new ones.I looked them up in LMC(pg.116)but they are"shaded"and not available thru them. you guys ever run into this?thanks.

Re: front end help
Without a picture it is kind hard for me to tell. My lmc catalog pg 116 is the waterpumps and fans.
but if it it was I am thinking about, it holds your upper a frame to the frame itself. |

Re: front end help
I would need a pic to know what "bracket" your talking about. In fact I might have one at home. I will have to check when I get off of work.

Re: front end help
If you are refering to the bracket that the upper control arm shaft is bolted to....the 2 bolts that have the alignment shims on them, they are considered part of the frame assembly itself. You may have been able to get them as crash repair parts many years ago. It is not likely now though. They are welded to the frame and not considered "wear-out" items. If you really need to replace one, you are probably going to have to find a donor truck and be prepared to do some surgery.
