85 Shortbed
So I have an 85 C-10 shortbed. It's got a crate 350 with an edelbrock air gap intake, holley street avenger carb, heddman headers, billet pullies and stock heads...I was wanting to give her a little more power with different heads. I'd heard those chevy vortecs were great but I also heard they don't bolt up to my set up...wondering if anyone had any good suggestions...if so write back if anyone has any for sale give me a call 858-380-7316 ask for Tony

Re: 85 Shortbed
I'm pretty sure that on a carb set-up, you'll just need to get a vortec manifold. Edelbrock, Weiand and Summit make some.

Re: 85 Shortbed
dart iron eagles aren't aluminum they are cast iron, but those will work fine either that or world product heads there is a board member on here with a set of world heads for 300 bucks like new for the set can't beat that

Re: 85 Shortbed
Just don't go to big on the ports. Around 180 for your combo.

Re: 85 Shortbed
SDPC prices went up, that kit goes for $820ish now with stock vortec heads/performer intake. To get the vortec version of the air gap intake he already has it's closer to $900 total.

Re: 85 Shortbed
