Anyone parting a '89-91 blazer or 'burb?
I've got an '89 crew cab 1 ton, (old body style), with a hacked up radio. (this is the bigger unit found only in the '89-'91 model subs/blazers/ R-series pickups.) I'm looking for a nice original GM am/fm,... but most importantly I need the radio harness. I have a hacked up mess under the dash. All I need is about a foot of wiring from the radio back. (including radio harness plugs) There are a couple people on the board looking,... but I thought I'd make a thread anyway. If you can help me out,... let me know the price to ship to 65251 in Missouri. Thanks, lolife99.

I know my 89 part rig has an aftermarket radio in it, don't know how they installed- cut wires or used adapter. I can check on it

Re: Anyone parting a '89-91 blazer or 'burb?
Thanks for the replies and the move to the parts board! I would buy just the sections of wiring, only,... if thats all you have. I believe there are 4 separate plugs/clips that go into the back of the stock radio.Any help will be appreciated. I can send a M/O right away. Thanks, again. lolife99.

Re: Anyone parting a '89-91 blazer or 'burb?
OK, pulled and it is a no-go. Someone before me cut the plugs out to put in the cd player that I don't even have a face for. Sorry.
Thw wiring plug is $10 and much easier because you can make the connection on the bench, but people would rather cut out the plugs and twist all the wires together. I don't get it.

Re: Anyone parting a '89-91 blazer or 'burb?
I have an 87 am/fm radio. I'll have to look for the harness wire if I have them. I may only have the plugs plus a little wire. PM me if you interested.

Re: Anyone parting a '89-91 blazer or 'burb?
lolife99, the four plugs you need are available at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. if you want, and the OE brackets were still available from GM about a year ago. I don't have any Radios at the time, or I would help on that end....
