GMC vs. Chevy door panels
Seems like every Chevy truck I see has the door panels with the carpeted inserts, pull straps and the stainless trim under the pull straps.
The GMC trucks have the door panels with the black textured trim pieces and no carpeted inserts. I thought maybe the GMC panels were a lower end panel but on my most recent GMC parts truck it had power windows and locks but with what I would consider GMC panels. Is this just a coincidense or were they different for GMC and Chevy?

Re: GMC vs. Chevy door panels
My GMC has a full door panel with carpeted inserts, and fancy stainless trim It really depends on what the truck was ordered with. If anything, GMC was usually considered a fanicer vehicle than a Chevy, and in my experience, got better options.
