15x8 Wheels

At the local pick a part I counted no less than 10 sets of 5 lug 15x8 ralley wheels. Are these not worth much anymore? Or should i grab a few sets they are only $6 each or $12 If there is a tire on them they think is useable.

Re: 15x8 Wheels

The factory rally wheels are nice, but they made enough of them that they aren't high-dollar items as far as I know. I wouldn't have minded having a set of factory rally wheels, I like them a lot.

Re: 15x8 Wheels

I looked for what seemed forever for a set. After finding one here on there finally got a full set. Now I need centers and rings. If you can get them that cheap, clean them up and put them Evilbay with the build date, some resto guys will go for them.

Re: 15x8 Wheels

A guy up the road from me is asking $340 for a set with decent tires. Do those wheels have rings and centers, or is that price for wheels only? I've seen people pay between $150-250 for a set at swap meets. At least pick me up 5 of them and I'll pay price+shipping if you're not too far away

I'm trying to find one cheap enough for a spare. That's a great deal there.

Re: 15x8 Wheels

I don't know what they actually sell for here, but they are still pretty common at the swap meets. Nobody wants them, it seems.

I passed up a set of four with new generic radials 255/70/15 plus caps and trim rings for $175 at a swap meet last year. The guy still had them at the end of the day. I wanted to make him an offer, but I had just bought new tires, and couldn't see myself needing them for several years.

Re: 15x8 Wheels

I think you should grab them up myself. I bought two a couple years ago from Wheel Vintiques at $92.00 a piece without caps and rings.

Re: 15x8 Wheels

I sold two sets last year for $200-250 with caps and rings. I listed them locally, they sold quick. I have another set now off my my 86' with caps, rings and tires but have not listed them yet.

Re: 15x8 Wheels

All 5 lug I havent seen any six lug ones there are a couple of sets of the 15x7 alumium six lug ones though.
I might grab a couple of sets next trip to keep just in case.
None have centers or trim rings what is the going price for those.
