This may have been asked before but will a metal floor out of a 73-87 model shortbed work in place of a 67-72 metal floor? My bed floor is shot on the shortbed and I wont be able to find a good bed floor reasonably priced but I know of a shortbed off a 73-87 that is cheap.Anybody done this? And modifications needed?

Re: 73+ bed floor on 67-72 short bed
could find somewhere with a cnc plasma cutter and cut the shape of the bed outa sheet metal, but then again the price would be more.

Re: 73+ bed floor on 67-72 short bed
I want to keep it original looking as rare as it is but build it as cheap as possible at the same time.Thats why I want to keep a bed floor in it that is actually a bed floor and looks like one that it would have came with originally.
