'62 C10 wheel questions
I just lucked up on a 1962 C10 shortbed stepside, and it's got lots of potential. Of course, it has 6-lug wheels. How wide are the factory wheels and what is the widest tire I can put on them? I like old-school stuff, so I plan to go with black steel wheels, small Chevy hubcaps, and some nice wide tires.
Also, is there anywhere I can get some stock-looking steel wheels that are about 8" wide? |

Re: '62 C10 wheel questions
Anybody have a suggestion on good-looking wheel/tire combos? I plan to keep the truck's 6-lug wheel pattern. I was thinking about the Stockton Type 20 steel wheels, powdercoated in silver (15 x 6 front, 15 x 8 back)
with LMC hubcaps part number 38-3794 and trim rings. I'm definitely open to suggestions. |
