I want to see your rearends!!
Ok so I have the Portebuilt front crossmember. Now I am wanting to lay the rear out. I need some pics of different setups. Oh ya, I will be running a 29" tire or bigger. And checkout the buildup on www.gaugemagazine.com in the near future.

Re: I want to see your rearends!!
Simple just do not stop throwing the ball for a good 30min and then let him inside and you have a rear end layed out. If that does not work for ya then I say just check out some of porter's other threads. Also their are a few on this site that if you do a search with "back half" you should find a few more. Here's a good one to check out! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=206892

Re: I want to see your rearends!!
You can have all the beer you want. It might be a few months old but anything for fellow board members . I have been wanting to get rid of that keg for a long time. I don't remember how i got it. I guess that might be a good thing .
1LoC10- That truck frame is beautiful! My next truck i am doing an all round stock chassis frame. Do you have anymore pics? Thanks Josh

Re: I want to see your rearends!!
That round tube chassis is SWEET! It comes out super clean that way, and is A LOT of work!

Re: I want to see your rearends!!
Man, that blue truck look nice. When I think of building a custom frame, that's what I picture building. Some 4130 round tube for the lightest/strongest setup with just a little bit of natural give.
I'll be building my bike frame long before I get around to a truck chassis. |

Re: I want to see your rearends!!
This is what I did 2 years ago on my dime... Originally had a triangulated 4 link, but I switched to a 3 link so I could lay it out without the drive shaft hitting the gas tank crossmember.

Re: I want to see your rearends!!
Hey Slammed dime! Nice setup! Those are some large rocker arms. What ratio do you have them set up at? It looks like it might 2.5:1 but i am just guessing.

Re: I want to see your rearends!!
Thanks Josh. Yea, it comes out to 2.5:1 from the center of the rocker to the end points. Actual lift is around 2:1 however.
