newbie in nashville... hello!

greetings all, i'm a newbie to this world, just found a 1972 chevy c10 super cheyenne, she lives with me now in nashville. just wanted to say hi, and see if there's anyone near me who's a whiz w/ these trucks (on a professional level)- i look forward to eventually restoring her, but i'm not a mechanic and right now i need someone to give her a checkup and make sure she's safe. good to be here, these boards look great!

best, reid

Howdy from Murfreesboro. I drive up to Antioch in my 78 stepside every day. I have a pretty kick-butt resto-mechanic guy who bails me out when I get myself in trouble. If you'd like, I'll forward his number to you.

Welcome to the board from West Tennessee. You have a lot of people in your area that can help you out. I'm about 2 hrs west of you but have been know to make road trips when I have to. Keep us posted on what you're doing and if you need help.

Re: newbie in nashville... hello!

Welcome. You'll find that this is an awesome resource. I relocated from Nashville to Crossville about 2 yrs. ago. I'd like to move back someday. Wish I could help, but I'm about where you are in this too.
