Re: My score story
For a second there, I thought this should be under "shop talk"
Congrats. I need a garage before I can ever go around looking to "score"

Re: My score story
I knew it would only be a matter of seconds that this would hit the board after he got this stashed out of site.
Not bad, considering he gave me a "what-for" lashing....about how he never gets stuff just GIVEN to him (then I turn around and call him). We actually traded. All I wanted was the wiper and headlight knobs from it. Hmmmm......two plastic knobs for me and a C-20 Big Block for him. You think I screwed him too much???? Plus, I told my wife that I almost brought that to MY place, and she nearly $#!T. So technically, I saved a little seat-meat by giving it away!

Re: My score story
Nice find. I'd dump some penetrating oil or some sort of oil down the cylinders of the BB, whether it's stuck or not. Hopefully you'll get it to run again.

Re: My score story
Nice score...try to save that big block!!!!!
"...anyone remember the story about the one that was in Oregon that was stuck in the mud and given away and a bunch of board members went and got it out?" Frizzle Fry should know about this one since he was the "lead" on it!

Re: My score story
That is a sweet steel. My friend has a 71 with a 400 in it and it cooks. You are one lucky guy. I wish people in Utah would give me a truck.

Re: My score story
I'm gonna pour some Marvel Mystery Oil down the spark plug holes before I try to turn it over. Gonna be a little while I've so many irons in the fire that I don't know if I'm coming or going.
