Pictures of a 1970 Blazer...Maybe!

First try at pictures! Sorry in advance if nothing there!

1970 Blazer...Rebuilt 350, auto, 4" Rough Country,(and it is Rough...wouldn't be my first choice, but came still in the box with the truck) 33" tires, new body mounts, painted 2005 Mustang yellow...rust all gone! Still working on interior(trying to figure out if I want bed liner or not), got a new to me grill at Iola last year that needs to be polished up and installed, HEI, and waiting for the STC Soft top to come back into production....I hope!

Well I can say the back seat looks good...needs arm rests. Front are shot...just have some covers on at present. Bed and door panels are there, but nothing special. All stock.

My thought....for now anyway....gut it, bed liner, black diamond plate bed and door panels...find new seats from another vehicle.

Re: Pictures of a 1970 Blazer...Maybe!

Thanks Everyone!

It does look alot different than when it came home about 1.5 years ago. I bought it off Evilbay...needless to say not as nice as the description, but compared to anything I could find in Wisconsin not bad. It was a Colorado Blazer. It was a bad paint job Blue with a white top. Top was hurting with DIY sunroof. Top was given away. I want the soft top, but don't want to drill holes for the Bestop.

I am hoping to have the interior and HEI done this spring!

You didn't happen to buy the grill that was down in the hole from the guy that had 2 semi trailers full of parts in iola ? If so, i looked it over, but couldn't meet on a price. Nice blazer you have...

I got it from a guy that was right before you crossed the road to go into the For Sale Corral. I got it for $90 and it is very straight. Just needs a polish and a way for me to figure out how to paint the lettering back in! I know the guy you are talking about...I looked there also.

It is a lot less holes than the Bestop ones...at least from what I read here anyway! I may not have much choice anyway!

Was talking to a Older Bronco collector friend of mine tonight and there is a place right here in town that made his top...I figure I will stop in there tomorrow maybe and ask a couple ?'s. Maybe they can just make a bikini top while they are at it. I will let you know what I find out.

and dont expect it to be close to leak proof....the window frame fit is poor and the zipper seams are very unprotected but it does a great job of holding heat in....i love mine....except when it rains...and i dont dive it.

Main thing is to keep the wind and the majority of the rain off the 3 and 5 year old.
