Tapco floor pan

Anyone ever heard of a I think it says (tapco) front floor pan. Same mold as the ones now available.I have finally begun replacing the floors in my blazer. In the early 1990's I met Jerry Brown who runs The Truck Shop in Tennessee at Carlisle. He said he had floor pans. I order the passenger side. Cost $75 back then. If you know Jerry Brown. Nothing cheap and only the best. Anyway it doesn't have the black primer. It looks like dull steel until you sand it. feels heavier than the new one I have for the other side. On the back Made in the USA sticker. I will post pics. Just curious if any of the older members know anything about them

Never Heard of them. I bought a seat off of Jerry at Carlislie a couple years ago. Where in Northern Va. are you? I just moved out of Manassas in July. Do you know about Atheys Classic Truck Parts in Front Royal? If you need something fast, you can take an hours drive and pick it up. Good prices, conveinant, and a super nice guy to deal with.

Re: Tapco floor pan

I used a cab corner and cab supports from that company a few years back, best fitting ones I have ever seen. All they are is galvanized steel without primer. I dont know if this company is still around any more. It would be great if they still were.

Re: Tapco floor pan

Tapco brand makes awesome parts and super thick, in some instances thicker that the original. I think that these are now tri city replacement parts. Not positive though

Re: Tapco floor pan

Bishops Trucks I am in Annandale. Know Athey's Truck Parts well. He is a great guy to deal with. It is a Tabco Sticker on the back of the panel. I looked at it in a hurry last night. Sorry about that. They are nice fitting. I will try the link and see if they are still in business. I have a pick up cab floor from AZ that had rusted just at the top and on the outer rockers. I and using the patch panel sections that I need to graph on and make a complete replacement for my floor. Like I said I got this panel in the early 90's so maybe there is a better replacement than the tri stuff

Re: Tapco floor pan

I think tabco is right they are out of pa and some of the parts i bougth before came as bare metal or some type of galvanized coating .I talked with a guy at ccg he said he used to work there and that he left beacause of thier quality controll . I didnt have any trouble with the inner footwell patches i bought . inexpensive parts at the time .

Re: Tapco floor pan

Thanks for the link. I think I'll be buying Made in USA Tabco stuff from now on. I hate rebuilding my Chevy with foreign-made parts. Their prices seem right in line with the others for most things.

I wouldn't pay too much more that what it is going for. You can buy a new one from Tabco for $30.84 P/N 501 71
