need a new battery

tried to jump the truck today, and found that the battery is completely dead, jumping it does nothing, will crank once and then stop.


any recommendations on a new batter? something cheap yet good. cant afford an optima or anything, something around $50 or so.

Rare combo....

I'd spend the extra $30 and get an AC Delco. The one in my 84 is 10 years old and still going. There must be a reason that several Japanese car companies use them...

when i say cheap, i mean around $50-$60

how much are ac delcos? i saw a duralast one from autozone for $50.

I bought mine from O'Reilly about a year and a half ago- it's never had a problem, always started. It was only like $40, and came with a lifetime warranty.

get the 1000 Ca one from the wal-mart, everlast i think, should be around $60

I got a 65 month battery with 850 ca at napa and it was about $40
