anyone ever used these for drop and lift?

search function is amazing, yes everyone has heard of airbags, their awesome and most of all the other suspension threads are about customizing frames w/ them

With my RE7's, my front is very close to stock when aired up.

those bags look to be much bigger than a normal RE7 bag. go pick up a pair of these for less money:

Those supper lift bags are what the 4x4 guys run. I have never seen a 2wd truck with those, but that doesn't mean you can't do it. 13" of travel is a lot though, you would have to do some serious chassis mods I would think.

I read the Ebay description, and it said that they were recommended to be used only in the rear. I would only guess there would need some modifications needed to put them in the front. If anybody decides to put these in the front of a 2wd, please do a write up on it. I would love to have that kind of lift in my 2wd.

Your limiting factor of lift and drop is going to ultimately be determined by the suspension geometry or ball joint travel anyway. In other words a properly installed standard Firestone F6873 will get you all of the travel that front end really wants anyway.......
