Re: New Front end!!
looks great, gmc fronts are much better than chevy's. I'm still debating changing my '80 to the '91 clip I bought.

Re: New Front end!!
That's the front end I like. I agree that the GMC front end (without the GMC logo like this one), is better looking than the Chevy.

Re: New Front end!!
Your truck looks great!!! Good job! What hang ups did you have? The only real issues I had was messing up my oil cooler and getting the fender bolts started were a bit of a bear to get aligned.

Re: New Front end!!
You posted in my thread where poolboy originally posted his pictures, about the 4/6" drop right? It's still there.

Re: New Front end!!
Core support was $40.00 plus $20.00 fot them to pull it(well worth it) New grill and headlight bezels from EBay $90.00 shipped, Used front bumper EBay $110 shipped, All the lights and hardware from a fellow member $40.00 shipped. Antifreeze, new bulbs, hose clamps, Wire connectors, FUSEABLE LINK you know stuff like that $30-40 The only real problem I had (besides the battery thing) was the new support did not have a notch for my AC condenser lines. My 81 lines go out on the drivers side. The old support had the notch on both sides. The new one only had one on the pass side. I had to cut a notch so my lines would clear. Other then that it was fine.

Re: New Front end!!
Looking Good, poolboy...
![]() I took the liberty of p`chopping a couple of your ideas. Aside from the details, they're just missing new shoes. Should look good when you're said and done, though modding is never ending...
