That is 406sb, I had it in at one time. I pulled it out to make some up dates to the blazer. So I made some time to do more up dates to motor and rebuild it. I did drag race it some, but it was made to drive on the street.

Have you posted pictures of your Blazer? I would like to see mods. I have an 80 2wd Blazer I hope to get on the road this summer.

Re: My son and I worked on the Blazer today.

What size rear tires and wheels and the backspacing on rear wheels? By the way the interior looks great. Are you using drop spindles and drop springs up front? Did you c- notch and use flip kit in rear? I want to drop mine but I don't have the money to bag it.

On the back, I found that 92-94 full size blazer 4x4 springs will work on a 73-81 2wd blazer. I put the springs on the bottom of axle with 2" shackles. With 17x10 AR wheels and 275-60-17 BFG's. I have about 3.5" before it hits the frame; I am putting on air bags on top of the springs to help the ride.

On the front, it is belltech spindles and spring with a coil cut off. With 17x8.5 AR wheels and 255-50-17 BFG's. I will be putting air on the front too. I will post pic's as I do this.

If you need any help or pic's just let me know, I have put about ten years into this. But it has been a blast doing it and drive it!!!

Thanks,
Trav
