Are these trucks hard to sell, or what?

Maybe this is another "what's it worth thread", but I'm starting to wonder if I'm ever going to be able to sell my truck.

NO one is even coming out to look at it? Are they worth more back east vs. in the rust free CA area? Maybe people out here are looking for a show truck for free or something. Here's some pics for reference.

So what's the best way to sell these trucks?

Re: Are these trucks hard to sell, or what?

See, that's just it. I'm only asking 2K, and I see them for way more all the time. But this one has had no interest... None, nada, zip. If someone actually called, I'd feel much better.

Should I trailer it out to Texas or something? I have a sister that lives out there. Maybe it's worth combining the trips?

Could be the area, and kinda partial to short beds myself. It would sell here in Pa in that condition and price. Looks like a nice clean truck. The day it sells you will probably have ten more people call and say they wanted it.

I'd give you $2K for it, if you could figure out how to get it to FL, .

Near Sacramento. My wife is always wanting to travel, and I've got some Vacation coming up too. I'm thinking a ROAD TRIP might be in order. Tow it out where this baby might be adopted.

Sorry man. I really was just trying to vent the frustration of not being able to part out a truck, trying to "save" it, and then getting burned, bad, with a bad re-sell market. I won't post those again, like the site too much.
Thanks!

Your price is very good for a clean, no-rust, big block truck. The first place I would try to sell it is here! Just become a supporter, it is quick, easy and about the price of a magazine subscription.

Re: Are these trucks hard to sell, or what?

I lived in San Diego about 6 years ago and to me it seemed that there were very few 67-72 around. I don't know why. Just part of the crazy folks there I guess.

Re: Are these trucks hard to sell, or what?

It would sell in Santa Maria, which is not to far from you - the paint looks a little funky without the chrome, though. Two grand is a good deal if it's not too beat.

Re: Are these trucks hard to sell, or what?

I'd give you that for it. It could be hauled to the east coast by DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) for around $1400.00 and the asking price. For about $3400.00 it still looks like a good buy. I have 3 trucks sitting in Va. now waiting for me to get back to them in May. Somebody by this mans truck.
kxnomore,
It would be worth your $25.00 bucks to join the board. You get alot more use out of the site. Good luck with it.

Easy, subscribe and post it on the classifieds. For now it's too much like a for sale thread.
