caddy BB rotate CWor CCW ?
do caddy big motors turn clockwise or not ? gotta put cap and wires on the engine they been off for a while forgot if ran clocksiwe or not

any ideas ? need to know which way dizzy and crank spin asap am hunting all over the net with no luck, close luck though.

Crank spins clockwise. Only engines that I know of that don't are Hondas.

It's a decent-looking work truck. No top-end, but it's great off the line. '69 International Loadstar 1700 school bus converted to an RV. Working p/s (only took three years and three owners to replace the belt & a pressure line), low-compression 345 (176 certified net hp @ 3800rpm), single 3" exhaust w/custom cherry bomb muffler, NP435 trans, two-speed Eaton rear end, very warm & rodent-free heaters.

Just remember that the firing order is different.....& the odd bank is on the pass side on the Cad.......69longhorn

Hondas run backwards, as do some large Korean diesels. Not sure about the Korean cars though.
I'd block the thing up and crank it. If you were to connect he upper and lower hoses and remove the thermostat, you'd have water in the jackets at least. Never cared for starting them empty.If you hook up a guage, you'll see why. The temp will jump up into the 200's after mere seconds of running. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. I think he wants to know which way the distritor turns,can be cw or ccw depends on which side of the camshaft it is on, I can't find anything on the web not much caddy info unless it's a northstar.

thanks guys, i cranked her over and saw rotor turn cc, so its all good, firing order is wierdo one, i hooked up wires and actually had it 180 off some how, even though was on cmpression stroke of #1, wierd...... cant explain it, so I switched firing order at cap around and its all good now runs strong
