Lowering blocks
Is this a good/correct way to lower a truck?

I think i would of cut the pads off and welded them under the axle. That looks to put a lot of stress on them unsupported welds on the pads.

I have one truck like that and it works fine and my other truck is welded on pad that you can buy at any auto store,I didn,t have to cut other pad out

Yup, that is a flip kit. Nothing wrong with lowering a truck that way.

Oh I didn't know that. I guess I didn't look at it close enough. I'm not looking to do that kind of upgrade any time soon. Just some shackles to hopefully level the truck out a bit.
