Who has a baby seat in their truck?
We recently got a 3 in 1 baby seat for our 5 month old. It works in the car great, but there will be a time I'll need to take the truck. Does anyone have pics or info on how and where to attach the straps. My truck is a 86 Regular cab. Thanks

Re: Who has a baby seat in their truck?
I have a "booster" seat in my 86 C10 for my 4 year old son. He rides with me in it on the weekend. My 7 year old daughter rides sometimes, but I do not allow my 2 year old daughter to ride in the truck. Glad my truck is only a weekend driver. I fire up the minivan for family "cruising".
just my $.02

Re: Who has a baby seat in their truck?
for a baby that young you need a rear facing one that clips through the center seatbelt

in our town, you can go to the fire dept. and they will install it for you. Keep those kids safe!

Re: Who has a baby seat in their truck?
Lap belt in the middle thru the seat or go to autozone and buy a lap belt and install it on the passenger side of seat.Just take out the original bolts, install the lap belt and then reinstall the stock belts. When not in use[lap belt] just tuck in seat. that way you have the option to put the car seat in 2 positions. You could use the original belts but it's so much easier with a lap belt. My truck has a lift so trying to get to the middle seat is hard. Sorry no pics.

Re: Who has a baby seat in their truck?
I have a seat that faces rearward now but I can turn it around when my son gets older. I had a hard time getting to fasten properly. The police dept has check points the first Sat. of every month here. They cut up a foam swimming noodle to get the angle needed to install the seat. I never could get it back the way they had it so I screwed a couple 2x4's together to get the right angle. They don't make car seats to fit in older cars and trucks anymore. They are all designed to go in newer cars with anchor systems.
Here's a couple pics. Hope they help.

Re: Who has a baby seat in their truck?
Thanks guys. We have a reversible seat. Rear, front and then a booster all in one. I'm going to make up a "leveling" device. Thanks again.
