Oh, the needle is probably seating alright, but if the float is not bent properly it will not press on it and make it seat. And I know about the side projects, I'd really love to mess with my truck today but my Holley still ain't here, and I have to do brakes on a friend's Pontiac GTP anyways.

Well, I just checked the rebuild kit and it includes the needle, seat and washer for the float assembly. These parts together with the new float should probably get 'er all back to normal...
Can't be soon enough for me. |
