thanks alot for the comments, as far as lowering it i heated and cut the rear and front springs, then replaced the front shocks with some monroe sensomatics and put the original front shocks in the rear to keep it from bouncing. as far as the engine goes im still debating on replacing it with a 350, i got the original 250 inline six with a 3 on the floor tranny that are in very good shape and not to mention that i have just recently added on alot of new parts such as a newer points, carb,radaitor, fuel filter, water pump and new clutch. Basically gave it a small overhaul but not much, it runs strong and better than that when i first bought it. Gonna start on the brakes next week, those 2 are all the original all mannual brakes and steering, just keeping it vintage i guess, even though some may not consider our trucks classic for that matter they still are awesome and turn heads once u put some work into them,.
