I have the York, but I would have to loose something, if it was smaller then
I could consider mounting it low like a smog pump under the A/C compressor

Re: Stage 1 Complete

On my last rubicon built Early Bronco I used the a/c comp off a 5.0 mustang for my on board air. It is alot smaller than the yorks that I have also used and put out as much air as well. They are about6" around and 10" long give or take. What you can also do is replace your york with a sansen (sp?) comp for your a/c and also use the 5.0 style for air and you will save alot of room. This was the only shot I had on my hard drive. But it gives you the ides.

Re: Stage 1 Complete

Merlot's looking good! Did you ever find another 67 grille? If you put the compressor at the rear and mount it with good rubber bushings it's not as loud as you would think. Plus, with you running 2 tanks (6-10 gallons of air??) the compressor would only come on every other time you aired up.

Re: Stage 1 Complete

Actually only running a max of 5 gallons storage air, front tank is 2 gallon
and the rear is a 3 gallon, I won't change that because I like the stealth
look of nothing in the bed, most I've looked at say "out of the elements"
so It looks as if I am going to have to install it somewhere, idea pending.

Keith, then name of the Blammy was "BLOCLVL" but I deceided that she
would never be that low since I want this thing to be movable if I have
a major issue while traveling, right now I can drive it aired out (Barely)
so I changed it to "Merlot" if you look at the pic's the flash makes it as
if she's redish, she's really more of a maroonish, so "Merlot" like Wine

Re: Stage 1 Complete

I'll have to do a little digging but I should have all the mounts and a compressor for the driver side. In the 70's the A/C was on the left side with the old style long compressors. Let me know if you want me to go on a treasure hunt.
