3 on tree to auto column swap
Any advice on swapping a 3 on the tree to an auto column? I have an auto column from a 63 to put in my 63. I have noticed the wiring is different, but will it plug into the same harness? Anyone have a wiring diagram for 63 columns?

Re: 3 on tree to auto column swap
The only difference in the wiring that I can think of is that on a automatic steering column, there will be a switch mounted at the base of the column for a neutral safety switch, which should also work for the backup lights, plus an addition wire that will have to plug into the fuse box for the light to light up the ishift indicator. Other than that, the wiring should be the same I would think.
