Power Steering Pump Questions.

Will hoses off later model trucks work? ie 73-87?
Also, I have manual steering, I have a power steering gear box with arm. Will the rag joint (steering coupler) I have work? or do I need to get one from a power steering truck? Thanks

Re: Power Steering Pump Questions.

My 72 has a later model p/s pump and the factory steering gear. It seems to me like the hoses may be different lengths. The return hose is no big deal. I think the rag joint is different between power and manual steering. If it wasn't dark, I'd go compare the ones on my trucks and see if they are.

Also, sometime in the late seventies or early eighties they started using metric threads on them....
